heading to hobart

i am packing my bag with a few things and heading to hobart, tasmania, our island state of australia ! spending this christmas with family and friends down there.
i am refered to by one of the family 'as the old girl from accross the pond' ! he is referring to bass straight, which separates the mainland from tasmania. the 'pond' will be very busy soon, with boats in the sydney to hobart yacht race, which starts in sydney on boxing day. fair sailing to all those who are taking part.

Hi Lizzie, welcome "home" to Tassie. There is something about Christmas, isn't there, particularly family traditions. Your's seems to revolve around beautiful crafts. My family's revolves around cooking. Have a wonderful time over Christmas!
